Sponge Candy is a seasonal treat made during the cooler months (low humidity). It looks like a sponge, but it has the consistency of a honeycomb with an airy crunch to it. Some people describe the flavor as similar to a molasses or maple flavor. Each piece is hand cut and dipped right here in DeKalb. No two pieces are alike and sizes vary greatly.
